Join IBHS for a special one-day edition of Disaster Dynamics Academy focused on severe Atlantic-born tropical storms and hurricanes. Looking through the unique lenses of both the 2017 and 2018 hurricane seasons, we’ll spend a day learning more about the fierce hurricane threats facing both coastal and inland residents from Maine to Texas. You will gain a better understanding of how severe storms exploit structural weaknesses, and learn more about how to prevent or mitigate storm damage.
