What to Expect:
During research experiments and field observations, IBHS has often documented failures of attached structures like carports, pool lanais and overhangs, and garage/roller doors contributing to additional damage to homes and businesses. These damage amplifiers will be another focus of research in 2025, and this DDA will focus on highlighting how these vulnerabilities can also tie into roof and roof cover performance. These components fall under the umbrella of our Roofing Roadmaps as well because they can directly affect roof performance when failures of those components occur.
Who Should Attend:
While all Members are welcome, based on the content, we especially encourage Members who operate within property claims, adjustment, and risk management departments to attend.
What to Wear:
Casual attire. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes with no slick soles or heels.
