Palisades and Eaton Fires

On January 7 and 8, 2025, the Palisades and Eaton Fires tragically became the latest examples of catastrophic conflagration as Santa Ana winds pushed these wildfires deep into LA County communities. Additional research and insights from a post-disaster investigation will follow in the coming weeks and months.

The Early Insights report provides preliminary analysis on the evolution of the wildfires from ignition to conflagration.
